Changes in our office's life

As of February 1, 2024, Dr. Márton Karika will be leaving act Bán & Karika Attorneys at Law. We would like to take this opportunity to warmly thank Márton for nearly a decade of work and wish him the very best for the future!

This personnel change is of course a significant milestone in the life of our firm, but we are confident that the high quality of legal work that our clients have become used to will not change. The same team will continue performing the same professional work, and we remain the exclusive Hungarian member of act legal and the LAWorld network. We are dedicated to ensure that our clients will continue to receive the premium legal advisory that they are used to, and will not perceive any material change in our day-to-day cooperation, apart from the new name of our practice and a brand refresh over the coming months.

Regarding the day-to-day work and existing mandates, no changes are planned. The engagement agreements have always been concluded with Dr. Gergely Bán Law Firm, invoicing and other administrative tasks have always been and will continue to be handled by our colleagues. The office location and staffing of the law firm will also remain unchanged, meaning that the nearly 15-member team will still be available in Budapest in the same office, led by Dr. Gergely Bán, Managing Partner, and Dr. Péter Weidinger, Partner.

In the first quarter of 2024, we are planning to organize a number of events to which you are cordially invited and during which we will also have the opportunity for personal dialogue. You will receive further details about the upcoming events in our social media channels and in our newsletters.

We consider the new year and the new office structure as an opportunity with potential for growth. We look forward to another exciting and prosperous year in 2024 together with our Clients and Partners!
