Gergely has a wide, one and a half decades’ long experience in civil and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, banking and insurance law, competition law, international transport and forwarding law, labour law, IT and telecom law, real estate law and general corporate law. He has extensive litigation experience.
Prior to the establishment of act Bán & Partners, he worked with major international law firms. He commenced his career with Martonyi and Kajtár Baker & McKenzie, later worked with Bán, S. Szabó & Partners (in cooperation with Gleiss Lutz and prior to that with Shearman & Sterling) for 7 years and then with Kővári Tercsák Salans (currently Dentons).
He received his J.D. from the Law Faculty of Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2001. He holds certificates in banking law and EU law. His practice covers advising major multinational companies. He is fluent in English and speaks German.
